“At 1-2 Achieve we believe that everyone has a voice, its important to us that young people feel in control of their own education, we see it as our responsibility to listen to everyone’s view and formulate an education package that is bespoke to individuals and prepares young people”

“We do this by constantly speaking to our young people, their families and the professionals linked to their education, below are quoted some of the statements made by the individuals we work with”.

“It is better than i was doing, because there is more interaction, the stuff we are learning is better than on line”.

“Having stuff on the board helps me to remember what words mean and seeing things in person has helped me learn a lot more. Things are explained clearly and I’m making progress with my English which I wasn’t good at in the beginning”

“I was distracted before, but now its 1:1 it feels better”

“I get listened to and get the chance to think about what I have learned every day. I get to learn everything I want to learn”

“The programme of education for this YP was designed and tailored to meet the individual needs/wants of the YP taking into account any extra needs that they had”

“I feel the communication between 1-2 Achieve and The ISS / YOS Team was excellent. We were kept up to date every day on what time the young person arrived at education and very importantly, informed immediately if they did not arrive at education”
