“Together we work to provide outstanding child focused education and intervention through our network of outreach teaching teams allowing the children we support to achieve and be the best they can be.”

We do this by giving young people a voice to develop and build their own future either academically or through alternative provision. We aim to develop children’s Wellbeing & Self-Confidence using Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)  to support positive behaviours, trauma informed practice, as well as developing oracy skills to help develop communitive and expressive skills

We believe anything is possible, and a flexible approach is key, we understand the nature of challenges children face can act as a barrier to children’s access to education.

We work with children from many different backgrounds and needs who struggle with many different challenges and barriers to their education which could range from children and young adults with complex needs to children who are excluded or not in education.

Our aim is to work together with Students, Schools and Families to build educational plans incorporating specific curriculum content, while setting achievable realistic targets for children, which include a time frame and progress checks.

We at 1-2 Achieve provide young people aged 4 to 16 with alternative and special education in order for them to progress and succeed in sustained education. We do this through high quality teaching and learning based on effective relationships that enable the achievement of life skills and meaningful qualifications.

Our aim is to help the individual pupil to find themselves, and find meaning for their studies and how education improves their life choices.

To do this, our central task, is pastoral work, we must be sensitive, warm, human, efficient, realistic, and thorough.

The core of a our work is the disciplinary, educational, vocational, and personal guidance; we believe the pupil’s real situation must contribute to the formulation of our policy to enable us to meet the students needs”

Everything we do is student based, to enable us to do this it is important to really know and understand our young people

It is essential we provide the right working environment for each and every child. We at 1-2 Achieve ensure that we  have the ability to adapt and to provide a learning environment that meets the needs of our students

We understand that it sometimes may not be possible to support a child or young person in a mainstream school, either through transitional moves, trauma, challenges within the family home or issues with health, 1-2 Achieve has the ability to support on either a short or longer term basis with the long term aim of re-engaging in mainstream education
